STRUCK BY A -CRICKET BALL. I [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.I WELLINGTON, March 19. While playing cricket on Saturday, Thomas Malinson, a single man, aged 20, of Puriri Road, Eastbourne, was struck behind the ear by a ball. He attached no importance to the incident and played .on for 20 minutes, and then suddenly collapsed. He was taken to .his' home and a doctor summoned, who ordered him to be immediately taken to hospital. While being lifted into an ambulance on a stretcher at seven o’clock he expired.
