At the wool sales 9288 bales were sold, of which 3387 were Australian and 3355 New Zealand. There was. a <rood selection of merinos and a miscellaneous offering of greasy crossbreds. Prises- and competition were well maintained, Yorbshiremen being the largest buyers. Best prices for New Zealand clips were: HL/IV, 244 d and 22d: Panikau. 21d and 19d; Tehee, 22Jd and 21 d; W.K/FV, 25 id and 25d.
