GYMKHANA AND STEER-RIDING CONTEST ENTRIES CLOSE TO-NIGHT. Entries for the steer-riding chamuonship of Taranaki, a mate nr athletic, morse and fire brigade events close this evening at 8 p.m. Post entries will he accepted for the motor-car and Highland sections only. Entries are coming forward very li a i' ;1 am ] 1,-eon competition in all events is assured. The handicaps for the athletic events will be published on Monday.
