GRIM TOKENS.
ALL RELICS TO GO'. MANCHESTER. TIRED' OF TANKS AN GUNS, LONDON, March S. All the tanks and guns in Manchester parks' are to be removed and sold as scrap metal if a decision of the Manchester Park Committee is supported by the Corporation. The committee had previously resolved to get rid of the relics in Platt Fields, and yesterday decided to include those in the other parks as well, some members regarding them as “useless” and others as “repulsive.” Similar action lias been taken concerning a few small parks or village greens, but nothing on such a big scale lias been contemplated before.
