Amery, in answer to a question, said the settling of a British family on a farm in Canada cost Great Britain a recoverable advance not exceeding £3OO. Similar settlement in Australia, was financed from the Commonwealth loan funds. Great Britain was making a grant towards, interest amounting approximately to £3OO per family.
