A GOOD CATCH OF FISH

Weather conditions being favourable on Saturday last, the Raumiro was launched tor the first time since the recent accident. After a short trial run, everything working smoothly, it was decided to .spend the balance of the day fishing. A run was made between Otakebo and Kaupokonui, the -result being unsatisfactory. A trip was then made to Waipap-a, where the anchor was dropped. The catch was a good one, the result being 150 schnapper, 25 blue cod and several kahawai.
The crew consisted of Captain Raha, Ripene, S. Coffee, J. Raha jumr., A. Tonga, P. Maaka, J. Ranui, M. Ranui, Palmer, J. Ekau, J. Awar, Gate, Hana Taua. Also on board was Miss Rachael Ran-gi Manama, her catch for the day being eight large schnapper. It is the intention of the owners to endeavour to secure a stand in Hawera s o they will he in a position to supply the .public with their fish. Mr and 'Airs T. Linn and daughter, of Managtoki, after spending a holiday at the beach, returned home on Sunday last.. A large number of visitors were at the beach yesterday, bathing being indulged in by the majority.
