IRAQ CRISIS
HAND OF THE SOVIET. SEEN IN TROUBLE. ‘ A NEWSPAPER’S ALLEGATION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 10.55 a.m. to-day. LONDON, March 11. The “Diailv Mail’s” Riga correspondent states: The Wahabis’s threatening attitude is due to Communist agitators, graduates from the Soviet’s international revolutionary university at Tiflis, who were sent to Arabia supplied with funds to start a rising last November. The Communists Internationale timed the Iraq crisis to coincide with King Amanullah’s visit to London for the purpose of demonstrating for his benefit the British Imperialistic policy, which Moscow alleges threatens Afghanistan. Bolshevik plans in Iraq are due to long years of attempts to inveigle Britain into a war with Mohammedans, hoping to set India aflame. —“'Sydney Sun” cable.
