They then leave for Napier. NORTHERN CHAMPION. The final for the Northern: Division championship was played on the Fitzi'oy green yesterday, when Stanley J. Smith (Fitzroy) defeated T. Petty (AA est- End) by 21 to 12. On the. loth bead the scores were 11 all, but Smith had it. all his own way until the 20th, when the tally was 19 to 11. Petty gained one, hub Smith added two more and secured the game.
