GOVERNMENT ON THE ALERT MOBILISING ITS FORCES. BY CABLE PRESS ASSOCIATION -COPYRIGHT LONDON, March 7. The “Daily Mail’s” Jaffa correspondent, says the Government is taking immediate steps to deal with any hostile movement of Ibn Sand towards the Trans-Jordania frontier. A force is being mobilised and men recalled from leave. A second armoured car company has left Ramleh for Amman, while a number of troop-carrying aeroplanes, said tc contain twenty men apiece, reinforcements f tom Egypt, has passed over on the way to Amman. Aeroplane patrols are keeping a close observation of the territory south and south-east of Amman, but no concentration of the tribes has been noticed.
