The South Island Rifle Association ft championship meeting was concluded todav in fine but windy weather. the champion grand aggregate resulted:— Rflmn. V- Tims (Christchurch Railways Club), 298; Rflmn. W. R. Barrett (Sydenham Club), 293; Rflmn. R. Piper (Christchurch Club). 292: Ritmn. D. Keir (Ashburton Club), 292. The tyro aggregate was woii by Kflmn. P. Pope (Lake Brunner), with a H'orp of 277, and the champion teams’ match by the Sydenham Chib, wnth a score ol 449. ‘ _
