They attributed the failure to • ■ lack of capital, and price-cutting, but admitted that the three partners drea out £18,873 during the 3J,- y?ars preceding the failure . , Kdoar told the Court that his wireactress, Movna Macgill, whom he married alter the divorce suit in winch he was co-respondent, learned £2<aH) a war but he received nothing or to.*, because hi* wife had a position to maintain.
