The Niagara wirelessed that she had picked up eleven of the crew o.f the •schooner Doris Crane, which was destroyed by fire en route from Fanning Island to San Francisco, with a load of copra. One man perished in the flames. explosion on"warship. ONE MAN- KILLED, 14 INJURED. Received 2 p.m. to-day-NEW YORK, Dec. 20. At San Diego one man was killed and 14 were injured, fouir seriously, in an explosion and fire aboard the United States aircraft carrier Langley. A gasolene leak was responsible for the disaster.
