YOUNG WOMAN’S ORDEAL
LONDON, -May 19. An unexampled drama of loss ol memory is reported from Wembley. Mrs "Mildred Proctor, 25, visited a doctor in another suburb on May 6, not giving her husband the doctor’s address. She did not return, and was not seen by any relative or friend until last night, when a friend met her wandering at the railway station. She said, ‘‘Hallo, Mildred! How are you:'” and Mrs Proctor replied, ••Will you tell me who i ami'’’ Her friend took her home. Mrs Proctor did not recognise her husband. A doctor was called in, and announced that a baby bad been born, but where or when, and whether it was alive, the police are trying to discover.
