A proposal is being considered to secure a cricket coach for New Plymouth schools, primary and secondary, and recently a move was made by the Northern Association to .secure help from the committees. The president (Mr T. H. Bates) waited on the committee at Fitzroy at the last meeting, and after some discussion that committee decided to vote £5 5s towards the project. A suggestion was also made that a member of the Headmasters’ Association be appointed to represent the schools on the association, and that not less than two hours be devoted each week to each school.
