FINAL. ROUNDS OF NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. (By telegraph—press association.; AUCKLAND, Jan. 27. The final rounds of the New Zealand diving championships, consisting of the high-board events, were decided at the Mt. Kden. baths to-n igbt, an exceptionally high standard being shown by the competitors in each of the three classes*. W. Colder (Otago) retained the open title, with B. Young (Auckland) second and G. Geddles (Hawke's Bay) third. Th e only other competitor was W. Thomson (Canterbury). . Miss L. Hood .and Miss P. Jones (both of Hawke's Bay) filled the first and second pi a res in the- ladies’ championship, with. Mrs. Thompson (Canterbury} third. The intermediate hoys’ section was won by D. Mnlvihill (Auckland). D. McKee (Hawke’s Bay) being second. Audi land is leading for the Yaldhurst- Shield with .‘if) points, Canterbury having 30, Otago 17, Hawke's Bay 0, W-a.ngianwi 7 -and Wellington 4.
