Doubles.—Third round : T'. F. Chambers. (Sumner) and Mrs,. Madden (Christchurch) beat R, Ca ugh ley (Wellington) land Mrs. E. A. Smith (Christchurch), 26—1. Semi-final: A. J. Ross (Christchurch) and Mrs. E. A. Johnson (Sumner) beat-Mesdames Piteaithly and Watkins (Hastings). 26 —8. Open Championship.—Second round: Mi's. Kibblew.hite (Frank ton) beat Mrs Aoheson. (Nelson), 2 —l. Ladies’ Championship. Second round: Mrs. McMurray (Foxton) beat Mrs. Tiffen (Napier), 26 —20. Third round: Mrs. Jarvie (Wanganui) beat Mr® .Spring (Mauawatu), 26—6; Mrs. 0. Watkins (Hastings) beat Mrs. Moeller (Wellington) by default! .
