HAWERA TRACK NOTES.

(By Limited). Fine weather and good tracks was the order at thei Egmont raoecouise this morning, and a number of useful tasks were performed. Trainers O. Cox, C. Jackson and Brown have returned from Wellington, and were out isuperintending thei work of -heir various charges. J. Lady Desmond and Helen, the. pair being unruly, finished up by running a half-mile in 50see. Lady Acre, leiogne and War Flame were exercised on the inside plough. Royal Acre, Lady Bentinck and Barryanda went five furlongs, Royal Acre and Barryanda giving the best showing in 1.3. , Seatown —bandaged —did twice rouna slow work and does not look a sure starter in the Cup. The Lamb, picked up by Silent at the half-mile, ran six furlongs in 1.17. Euphonium and Acred went seven furlongs, the first half-mile occupying 504, five furlongs 1.3, and the full journey 1.31 2-5. Pa.ssin ’ Through did a couple rounds at a good three-quarter pace. Skypoint, by himself, ran over four furlongs in 51 l-ssee. Monaghan and Uncle Dave went a sound mile, Monaghan running the lastseven furlongs in 1:31 1-5. Lady Estelle finished in front of Fortalico over half a mile in 51 l-ssec. Partaga, by himself, worked a nice seven furlongs in 1.31. Erin-go-Bragh beat Niblick over five furlongs in 1.4. Monsogne worked six furlongs in 1.19. Paitonu and Mendip were given pace work. Bevis is making a good recovery from the operation to his feet and will soon join the active list. The inside grass was available this morning for the first time, and was much appreciated.
