A YEAR’S GROWTH
FIGURES FOR NEW SOUTH WALES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. SYDNEY, Jan. 25. The State Statistician reports __ that the number of factories in New South Wales last year increased by 275 to 173,563. There were increases of £2,377,667 and £2,396,845 respectively in the value of land and buildings and plant and machinery, the aggie gate totals being £43,728,747 and £45,950,745. Salaries and wages paid during the year aggregated £33,458,200, an increase of £1,937,351 as compared with 1925. The value of the output is estimated at £169,413,741, an increase of £9,804,868.
