ATTACKED BY EAGLE.
EPISODE ON FRENCH ROAD.
SWOOP AT PASSING MOTOR CAR. PARIS, Jan. 7. Stories of eagles which have attacked aeroplanes in flight have been recorded before, but a. winged assault on a travelling motor-car is the very latest example of the audacity of these monarchs of the air. A royal eagle, whose wings measured 6ft from tip to tip, swooped down on ail automobile while it was going along a country road in Chambery. The impact injured the bird, which dropped to the roadway.and was killed.
