BRITISH CABINET
CHANGES RUMOURED. TALK OF REORGANISATION. SU G GESTED ALTERATIONS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 1 p.m. to-day. LONDON, Jan. 23. It is persistently rumoured that an important Cabinet change is likely to take place before Parliament meets in February. A revision is suggested as necessary by The Times in an editorial, which is variously believed to be inspired bv Conservative headquarters. It is recognised that Cabinet is too large and is carrying too many passengers. The most prominent disappearance is expected to he Sir P. Cun-liffe-Lister (President of the Board of Trade), who may go to the House of Lords. It is understood that consideration is being extended to the abolition of the Ministries of Transport. Alines and Labour, the functions of which will revert to the Board of Trade as before the -war.
