Armstrong and Dakin were also selected, but it is doubtful if they will be a.bl© to go. JUNIOR FIXTURES ALTERED. The sensational termination of the Hawke Cup match left last Saturday afternoon free for continuation of the local competitions. All matches had been put off, but unfortunately the notice to travelling teams was too short to enable tbe junior fixtures to be played last Saturday according to programme. The completion of the senior matches and the continuation this week of the fixtures as originally arranged has necessitated amendment to the junior fixtures, chiefly owing to certain grounds not being available. The amended fixtures are as follows: — January 29.—Excelsior v. Eltham, at •Hawera; Midland v. Stratford Technical, at Stratford ; Stratford v Hawera High School A, at Hawera ; High School B a b.ye. February 5. —Excelsior v. Stratford, at Stratford; Eltham v. Stratford Technical, at Stratford: High School A v. High Schoo B, at Hawera; Midland a bye. February 12.—Eltham v. High School B, at Hawera; Midland v. High School A, at Hawera: Excelsior y. Stratford Technical, at Hawera (if wicket available, otherwise to be played on the 19th) : Stratford a bye.
