SYDNEY, Aug. 7., The acting Government Statistician has issued- a. preliminary estimate showing the wool production of New South Wales for the year ended June 30 last. It amounted •to 401,800.000 lbs. of greasy, .-being. 32.700,000 Lbs greater than- in> the previous year. This year’s production was valued at £27,(500,000, which,, owing to the. drop in prices, is £.10,500,000 less than the previous year.
