Morgan Company,' of an alleged interview published on Saturday, in which he was quoted as predicting an advance of 100 points in General Motor stocks to-day, ended in. the (soaring of stock which has been the sensation of the past, few days. •Speculation ran riot after the interview was published, and oil Monday reached the climax (214) at the morning session, approximately 50 points above the quotations of a fortnight ago.
As a result of to-day's announcement of the denial, a reaction has started and is extending to other sections of the market.
