-ARRANGEMENTS FOR. FINAL TEST THE HOURS O-F PLAY BY CABLE—PEERS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT. Received 11.40 :a.m. to-day LONDON, Aug. 5. The Cricket Board of Control, at. a meeting a-t Lord’s, decided that for the final test the follow on and declaration rules should apply as. for county matches. The wicket is to be moved every morning in the presence of the umpires, and the outfield, if possible, is also to be moved. The hours of play are to be from, 11.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.. on the first day, from. 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. on the second and third days, from noon to 6.30 p.m. on the fourth, and) isubsequent days. _ The board recommended that the advisory committee he consulted regarding playing ont the tests. It suggested that future tests should be limited to six days, and if no results were -arrived at by that) time. the. mlatc-h should nor count in the series.—-Reuter.
