TOvMO'RJROW’S GAME.
The opening game of the Taranaki Football Association’s annual competition for tlxe China Citizen’s Cup is to take place at Auroa to-morrow (Saturday), when Manaia, and Auroa are to try conclusions. Manaia won the trophy last season, while Auroa are this year’s winners of the Julian Cup competition, and more than usual interest will therefore he attached to toiujMWf’s game. A close contest, as expected. A further attraction will be afforded- by the curtain-raiser, when Hawera and Auroa- juniors wild -play their second game in the cup fixtures. The junior game is to commence at 1.30 and the senior at 3- p.m. Mr. G. Reading, of Hawera, will referee. the latter.
The Auroa teams are as follow :
-Seniors.—Brown, .Kilpatrick, Bradford (2), Rye, McCook, J. Ramsay, Hartley (2), Jackson, Langlands, Freakley. Juniors.—Bigharn (2). Kilpatrick, Coffey, Burlaw (2), Salt, Dennis, Bradford, Sa-ndford, Wersley, West, Collins.
