TWENTY-SIX PEOPLE DROWNED. BY CABLE—PfiESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT. VANCOUVER, Aug. 5. A message from Rio de Janiero states that twenty-six persons were drowned when the coastwise-steamer Bitar sank after a collision with a pontoon.
