WOMAN REMANDED ON SERIOUS CHARGE. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 5. Charged with the murder of Elsie Davis’, a married woman, aged 31, Elizabeth Ann Nevill, married, aged 49, residing at 150 Queen’s Drive, Lvall Bav, appeared on remand before tlie magistrate. Air Page, in the Police Court yesterday. On the application of Detective Ward. a. further remand was granted until Wednesday, August 11. Bail was allowed in one bond of £3OO and two sureties of £l5O each.
CHARGE AGAINST A WOMAN. THAMES, Aug. 5. Edith Amy Geraty. charged l before the magistrate (Mr Salmon) with illegally using an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage on a married woman with six children, was committed for trial. Bail was allowed, self £2OO and one surety of £2OO.
