BICCARTON: TRAINING NOTES.

Training work at Rie.carton was watched by a large crowd of spectators. After a, light rain overnight, fog made its appearance, but soon dispersed. The, outside of the course proper was; open., Moorland' ran half a mile in olse.c. Rory o’ .Moore ran a. mile in 1.50 2-5. Tuki did a working gallop over a, mile and, a-quarter. Precious did. six furlongs easily in 1.19, and Paper Boy beat Cyrence over five in 1.3 4-5.,

Ngata and Comical did a. mile in 1.40 1-5, finishing- together. Centrepiece, and Rivalry were well matched over seven in 1.30 1-5. Green Cloth bent Serotina. over half a mile, In 53se,c.

Chickwheat was slightly better than Le Choueasi over six furlongs in 1.10 3-5.
