SHOP DAY APPEAL. Ineluded in a quantity of saleable goods which will be offered by the Hawera Scottish Society at its .shop in Union street, near Morrissey’s mart, is a -pair of canaries kindlv donated by Mr C. O. Ekdalil. Promises have been made for general goods far beyond the expectations of the society, and it is believed that further donations will he received at the shoo. It is anticipated: that the society will lie in a- position, to dispose of all 'goods, and an appeal is therefore made to the public for anything saleable.
