And" the necessity of giving the eyes proper Cafe and Attention. TVTR. RUSSELL, of A. R. Russell, Opticians, Lister Buildings, Victoria Street. Auckland, will visit Hawera on SATURDAY, June 19, and may be consulted at Mr Dingle’s Pharmacy. Elthma -on FRIDAY, June ISth, at Mr O’Hagan’s Pharmacy. Mr Russell is an exceptional man in the optical field. He has devoted his whole life to tho scenec of Optics, and for 26 years has done no other work. He has been associated with some of the foremost Eye Specialists of England, and t'or 16 years was a tutor of Optical Science. He holds the highest qualifications an optician can possess, and has long since discarded the out-of-date chart testing system. Years ago this was the only method known, but science has advanced in optical work the same as it has in all other directions. The greatest eye specialists of the world, and all the leading Eye Hospitals practically eliminate the use of test charts. The eyes are tested, the case accurately diagnosed, and the glasses prescribed without asking the patient any questions. This is Mr Russell’s method; As Mr Russell will be kept exceptionally busy during his short visit an appointment would be advisable.
