Commander Franc, head of the Spanish aviation force, and Captain Ruiz Da Ida, aboard a twin-engined all-metal Donnenva! hydroplane, left Mel ilia this morning on a trans-Atlantic flight to Buenos Aires, calling at Las Palmas, Fernando, Norouha, Pernambuco and Rio do Janiero. They hope to complete the journey in eight: days. The worst stage will be the 1700 miles between Las Palmas and Pernambuco. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
