They 7 opened a spe-cially-niade trunk and extracted £700.000 worth of Latvian hearer bonds consigned to a London hank. British and Continental police .ape endeavouring to trace the bonds, giving special attention to the Paris Bourse, hut, for the present, there ,has been no attempt to sell them, leading to the belief that the thieves, fearing detection, may 7 have destroyed them.
