In a letter thanking Air. Winston Churchill. Chancellor of the Exchequer, for the removal of the embargo on foreign loans, the Federation oi British Industries draws his attention to the serious feature of the world’s trade, namely the instability of currency in several of the most .mjo *
ant trading countries, which gives them an unfair advantage in competing with British manufacturers. Therefore the Federation suggests that no country with an unstable currency should be permitted to borrow in the British market, except for the express ourpose of stabilising its currency. Aus.-N.Z.
