PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mr. T. M. Wilford, ex-leader of the New Zealand Opposition, has arrived, says a London cable. He is recuperating in Devon. It is the intention of Ellesmere County friends and supporters to entertain Sir Heaton Rhodes and Lady Rhodes at a banquet about the middle of January, if , a suitable building can be obtained. The gathering will be made representative of the whole Ellesmere electorate.
