MELBOURNE, July 14. The, report of the Inspector-General of Military Forces states that more money is needed and that the training period for citizen ' forces should at least he equal to the pre-war period. He adds that if the serious position pi regard to material was to be restricted within a reasonable time the purchase of war material from abroad could not be avoided.
