A Canadian expedition successfully climbed Mount Logon, near the Alaska boundary, the highest peak in Canada, and the third largest in the American continent. It has been hitherto unsealed. The expedition was led by Captain McCarthy. Mount Logan is considered only second to Mount Ei'erest in th e formidable nature of its barriers. It is the second highest- peak in North America. Elaborate precautions were made arid several months spent in establishing bases and supply depots.
