Ait the annual meetigm of the Boys and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs this morning mention was made of the excellent service rendered to the work of the clubs by'’the late Mr. F. Ranford. Mr. R. Syme said that Mr. Ranford had acted as judge in this cialf-rearing competition, and, be believed, acted on the executive and had been always willing to help in every way possible. Mr. W. McL’Powie endorsed these remarks, and saicl Mr. Ran ford’s enthusiasm had been of great assistance, and his death was a severe loss to. the district. The chairman said Mr. Ranford had been keen and willing to help in every wlay, and bad given excellent service to the clubs. His death was a distinct loe.s to the district.
