PROPOSED EXPEND ITCH E. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPY RIGHT Received July 10, 11 a.m. TOKiO, July 9. The draft of the naval estimates for the coming year shows a total proposed expenditure of two hundred and eighty million yen. The estimates include seventy-two million for auxiliary vessels, eight million for warship construction, and ten million for new weapons. Compared with the present year’s estimates the draft shows a sixty million increase, but is liable to drastic cutting at the coming session of the Diet. —Reuter.
