NATIONALITY QUESTION.
WHEN BRITISH WOMEN MARRY FOREIGNERS. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT LONDON, July 8. In the House of Commons, Sir W. Defreece suggested that the British Nationality Act should be amended so that a British woman would l not lose her British status by' marriage until by the law of her husband’s country she acquired his nationality.
Mr Locker Sampson, Under-Secretary for Home Affairs, replied that the Government would further consider the matter when the opinions of the Dominions were received. Thus far three Dominions had replied.—Reuter.
