CONDEMNED BY RAILWAYMEN. NON-CONTRIBUTOR Y SCHEME WANTED. RY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT. LONDON, July 8. The annual conference of the National Union of Railwnymen unanimously condemned the Government’s new Pensions Bill, demanding a noncontributory scheme. Mr J. H. Thomas said that the effect of the contributions would be to increase unemployment. Both employers and workers were absolutely incapable of standing another pennv in the contributions.—Reuter.
