A statement published' in the Berlin press, purporting to give the Chancellor’s. views regarding the new Allied restrictions on German aeronautics, says that they are not concerned with the military questions, but solely dictated ivith the object of throttling German competition. Dr. Luther is reported to have said that the restrictions would not be accepted, because they sought to impose conditions not authorised by the treaty. Cabinet, therefore, would be free to make what decision it pleased. —Times.
