DENBY ROAD.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —In your issue of Saturday, the 9tli inst., regarding Denby Road, Cr. Washer states that he found nietal laid right down to the last dairy farmer’s gate. Now, as lam the Last farmer on the Den by Road, 1 am in the position • to state that tliis is not the case; in fact, there is no metal in front of my farm, at all. 1 have to cover about five chains from my gate before reaching the metal. While I am on the subject I should like to ask the County Council why this part, which is very badly cut up, is left. As I have been a ratepayer for the last eleven years, the exclusion of my frontage seems a great injustice.—l am, etc., A. E. PETTIER. . Hawera, May 10. 1920.
