TROUBLE ALREADY.
FOR NEW GERMAN PRESIDENT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. . LONDON, May 11. The Berlin correspondent of The Times says that on the eve of Marshal von Hi nden burg's entry into office as President of Germany he finds Berlin at, loggerheads over the flag question. An official notice states that the Republican flag must he flown, hut the Nationaists are urging members not to be shy about flying the black, red and go?d emblem. The deed son of Rep üblican associations against participating in welcome ing Marshal von Din den burg is regretted as enabling the Monarchists practically to dominate- the occasion, thereby conveying an impression not strictly in accord with the true state of Berlin feeling.
