SETS ENGINE GOING. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCT MUON—COPYRIGHT LONDON, May 11. An astonishing episode occurred at Middlesborough. A naked, demented girl, 17 years of age, left he l- home and was discovered driving a locomotive, which crashed into standing waggons, doing damage, amounting to £250. The police with difficulty hoarded the engine and found the naked girl jumping about. She was overpowered and taken to the police station wrapped in a constable’s cloak. The girl had boarded the engine an<l delightedl} r pulled the levers until she started the engine running.
