VISIT TO OSTRICH FARM. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received May 11, 9.5 a.m.) CAPETOWN, May 10. The Prince of Wales, mounted on a white horse, rode into Oudtshoorn at the head of a large commando. Replying to an enthusiastic welcome, he sympathised with the ostrich breeders’ that ostrich feathers had gone out of fashion. Afterwards he visited an ostrich farm and cut white and black feathers from hooded birds and placed one in his hat. —Sydney Sun Cables.
