A' L-ondon cable message states that after consultation with the doctor it was.announced.that Lord Milner s condition gives cause for anxiety. It hais been officially ascertained that the Government lias rejected a site at Point England, Tam ale i River, for a combined stir ba.se for Auckland. The decision was due to the price asked for • the land, which was regarded as excessive. The Government is considering another site (states an Auckland Prese Association message).
