Mr. A. E. Rogers, late of the firm of Smith and Rogers, is leaving EJt.ham. He has accepted a position with a Feilding firm. Miv Rogers has been a resident of Elthn'm for many years. Lieut Wilson of the Roys’ Home staff has received notice of his transfer to the Putarnrn Boys’ Home. Mr. A. 0. Hemingway was appointed hon. secretary .to the F'ltham School committee last evening in the place of Mr. A. E. Rogers, who has resignedhis position. At the meeting of the management committee of the Taranaki Rugby Union on Thursday, very complimentary remarks were made by the chairman when mentioning the re-appoint-ment of Mr. W. A. Guy as one of the selectors of the All Black team. Mr. McLeod said it was quite apparent that the selectors had given satisfaction and that their good judgment was in fact proved by the great success of the 1924 team.
