DWYER AND PARKER DRAW. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION NAPIER, May 6. In a fiftoen-rouncl professional contest to-night Hughie Dwyer (10st) drew with Eddie Parker (11.9) after a hard light for -a purse of £2OO. Dwyer sacrificed weight and boxed his opponent, relying on science to win the honours. Parker is surprisingly fast for a man of his weight and the bouts were evenly contested. The referee’s decision was popularly received. NOT WHAT THEY EXPECTED. PARIS, May 6. In a fifteen-round boxing.bout, Ronald Todd drew with Francois Charles, the French middleweight c-hampion. Thdusands of spectators paid a high price for admission, but were disappointed at the exhibition.
