At Torquay, in the British hard courts championships, the semi-final of the singles resulted :— Kingsley beat Barclay 9—7, 4—6, 6—4, 4—6, 6—4. In the semi-final of the doubles, Barclay and Kingsley beat Prebble and Doiist 3 —6, 6—o,' 3—6, 6—l, 6—2. In the finals,’the results were:— Men’s singles.—P. Spence heat C. Kingsley 6 —l, 6 —4, 9—7.
