• HAWERA A v. PARK. A banner match between Ilawera A and Park was played on the latter’s green yesterday afternoon under ideal weather conditions. Mr Stannard welcomed the visitors, and at the conclusion of play Mr A. 11. Hodge briefly returned thanks on behalf of Ilawera players, emphasising the fact that, although they had won, it was got so much the win as the good fellowship and enjoyable game that counted. Reciprocal cheers were given, and a hearty one for the ladies who presided at afternoon tea. Following are the scores, Ilawera players being mentioned first: .Toll, Payne, Shaw, Robertson 27; S.
